Who Doesn’t Love Fancy Cocktails, 1920’s Noir, or Being Clean?

I founded Prohibition Soap because I had been struggling with dry skin for years, only to discover later that it was because I had been showering with detergent and not actual soap.

One day, while researching at work, I discovered how to make soap. Although the concept is simple, perfecting the craft takes time and effort. Thanks to my knowledge of chemistry, I decided to try it myself, and I was hooked.

Right from the start, I have been passionate about creating soap recipes that are not only effective but also unique in their own way. I have always taken great pride in developing distinctive designs for every single bar of soap that I make. Whether it's experimenting with new ingredients or perfecting a particular scent, I always strive to create something that stands out and makes a lasting impression on those who use it. It brings me great joy to see my customers happy and satisfied with the products I create, which is why I put so much love and care into every step of the process.

In 2019, I had the honor of attending a reunion of my old unit, Charlie Company 1st Battalion 4th Marines. I was part of the 1st Platoon, while 3rd Platoon played host to the event. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old comrades and share cherished memories.

As a former Marine and Combat Veteran, I wanted to find a way to use my passion for soapmaking to benefit other veterans.

What made the event even more special was the presence of Reuniting After War (RAW), an organization that supports veterans in a myriad of ways. The RAW team played a significant role in organizing the reunion, and their attention to detail was impeccable. I was immensely impressed by their commitment and dedication towards the veteran community.

After the reunion, I realized that I wanted to do something to give back to RAW and fellow veterans. That's why I came up with the idea of dedicating a soap line to RAW. The soap line would serve as a way to honor their work and also generate funds that could help support their mission.

RAW has been a beacon of hope and support for many veterans, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of their incredible work. Since my 2019 reunion, I have become one of the ten Regional Presidents.

I sincerely appreciate your interest and support, and  if you've read this far, thank you!
